Job title: Tax Manager

Job duties: Prepare complex income tax returns for individuals, including multi-state returns, trusts, and businesses. Review client documents for relevant information and develop and itemize financial documents necessary for preparation of returns. Analyze client financial statements, accounting, and bookkeeping records. Maintain accounting records on behalf of clients. Meet with and conduct client conferences to gather information, documents, and records and advise clients about tax. Review and correct simple income tax returns prepared by subordinate tax associate

Requirements: Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting from a US university that is accredited through a regional accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education. Must have 12 months of experience in a tax internship or as a tax associate preparing simple and complex individual, business, and trusts/estates returns, reviewing client documents, and itemizing financial documents for the returns with a CPA practice that handles individual, business (C-Corporations, S-Corporations, partnership), non-profit, and trusts/estates returns. Must have proficiency with professional tax preparation software, such as CCH ProSystem. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functionality such as data validation and pivot tables. Must have COVID-19 vaccine.
